Two Boys and Two Girls
Today we went swimming with Molly, Libby, Papa and GJ. It was lots of fun, and Max and Myles had fun jumping in from the side of the pool. Here's a picture of Papa and the kids afterward. Myles sat with him to read most of the book (The Caterpillar Who Went to Church--one of my favs!), and he got so sleepy Papa put him in bed. He is just like his Papa Denny who goes and goes until there's nothing left.

These are Hannah Montana wannabees, Molly and Libby. Just darling!
Check out Libby's Dora costume. She has a game where she puts it on and then puts a dvd in to say what to do. I just love how the backpack is printed on the shirt. Both of these girls take such good care of M&M. They are so helpful, and they are such loving cousins.

Fries, Nuggets!
Kids just seem to tell it like it is. God bless these two sweet boys!
So today I had the boys sit down so I could take their picture with hats on...a very rare occasion. Max has never been a fan, and I think it is because his head is big. Seriously. Anyway, they were seated and I wanted them to look at me and smile, so I said "cheese". As their dad has said a number of times, Myles said "cheeseburger". Then Max said "fries, nuggets". Is it obvious that we have had too many fries and nuggets? When we pass by McDonald's they frequently say "fries, nuggets". Spoken like true two and a half year olds. (I am thinking Diet Coke, but that's a different story...I've had too many from McDonald's this summer...it's my favorite!)

Aunt Melora Visits!
We started our weekend by eating dinner at Papa Tim's with Aunt Monique, Eddie, Bonni, Aunt Melora and Papa. It was fun to be with all of them, and Max and Myles had lots of fun in the backyard with Papa's hose. They soaked Bonni and Monique!
On Saturday morning, Aunt Melora was at our house before we were up! It was a special treat to have her with us all day! The boys, Melora and Daddy got donuts while I slept in!! :) Then everyone went outside while Daddy mowed and Mommy got ready! (So nice to get ready in peace!) We then went for lunch at Jose Pepper's---our favorite! It was lots of fun, and we are so blessed to have spent the day with Melora!
These guys get red in the face even if it is not hot outside! They were hot though, and they worked hard helping Daddy mow and trim!

We love Aunt Melora!!!

Scarlet Fever
That's right! Poor Mylesie has scarlet fever. It sounds worse than it is---it's actually strep throat with a rash. We spent close to 2 hours in the doctor's office and both boys were close to perfect. I could not have asked for them to be better! We had a 4:00 appointment, and we left at 5:45! They were busy, to say the least. Our usual pediatrician was off today, and we never wait like this for her. She is good about getting to sick kids...she has 4 of her own!
So, if you have been around us, take note. The doctor asked if we had been exposed, and then he said we can pick the germs up anywhere! Hopefully we did not spread it!
And hopefully we will all sleep well tonight!!!

WT!!
After Daddy finished mowing the grass today, M&M ran through the "sprinkles". Myles is always wanting Daddy to turn them on, so he usually does after mowing. It's much easier to just take their clothes off and let them go rather than getting swim trunks. Notice the shoes are left on---our driveway is a giant piece of sandpaper so shoes are a must.
I'm sure our neighbors love the white trash (wt) activity!
Daddy says the "sprinkles" on this side are the big ones! They spray lots more water!
Obviously they did not like the loud sound...who knows what it was. Just so cute with a diaper only!! Also notice Sean's lovely sitting position. Men could care less if their legs are wide open or not!
Myles just goes crazy. He really likes this one particular sprinkler.
Max is much better about standing a posing for Mommy. He's much more laid back!

McDaniels go to Crown Center
It was rainy today, so we spent the entire morning in our pjs! I just love rainy mornings, and it's been a long time since we spent the morning lounging around! We decided to go to drop by and visit Aunt Monique and Eddie at their new place in Prairie Village. Their moving van arrived today, and they seemed to be pretty settled in. It was great to see them, and we are so happy they are now close!
Next we went to Crown Center. I absolutely love Fritz's! (My grandparents' last name is Fritz!) Anyway, the boys love trains, and had lots of fun watching all of the deliveries! If you haven't been, you need to go!
At least Daddy is looking at the camera!
Imagine M&M eating nuggets! They were good! (And this is a terrible picture of pale ol me!)
After eating we walked over to Union Station in one of the sky walk things. The boys loved the water fountain in front of Union Station. It was fun, but we learned that the shops close up at 6 on Saturdays. We did not get to visit many stores, but we still enjoyed it.
