Aren't these the cutest? My 93 year old grandma made these for place settings last Thanksgiving. I'm planning to make them with my class this year. When I asked Gramie where she got the idea, she showed me a Better Homes and Garden recipe book from the 60's! Seriously!!If you want to make them, you will have to use dabs of melted chocolate to keep them together. When we tried glue, the candy/food started to 'melt'. I'm going to use a mini crockpot at school and the kids can use toothpicks or q-tips.
The orange felt is glued to cardboard to make them sturdier. Don't you love how she used a mini label for my name? Gramie.is.seriously.amazing.
